 Firstly a positive. This fan is way more powerful than it has any right to be for the size it is. However I bought this fan because the description quite clearly stated it was quiet and there is no other way to say this but that is simply a lie. It sounds like a small vacuum cleaner!! I bought this to take to work and for this purpose it’s completely unusable. Due to what we do background noise needs to be kept to minimum and I simply cannot use this in the office. Within 12 hours of receiving this I’ve had to purchase a replacement. If a small powerful fan is all you need and noise isn’t an issue then I would recommend it. If however you want something quiet avoid this at all costs.

Arrived quickly feels well made for the price (plastic but construction doesn’t feel flimsy). I wasn’t expecting much given that it’s a USB fan but is actually perfect! have not needed to turn it up at all over the lowest power. On that I like the adjustable power settings and that it isn’t just “3 speeds” like most fans. Quiet enough to have on in the background of zoom meetings and the tilt function means I can get it on my face.

I use this on my desk in the office and it is wonderful.The totally variable speed control means that I can have it on minimum and it’s enough to keep me cool and barely makes a noise. Others I’ve had have been too noisy even on the lowest setting.It also feels well-made it looks really nice and is compact enough to fit on any desk.

Love this fan. We live in a converted bungalow. This was converted in the days before regulations and during the summer the upstairs bedroom gets unbearably hot. We both have small USB fans at the side of our beds to try and keep us cool but were not great and really noisey. Bought these fans and cannot believe how powerful they are. There are 3 speed settings and at the lowest speed is not silent but almost inaudible and certainly doesn’t keep you awake but still keeps you cool. The highest speed would probably give you the shivers all night. Not bad from a 5v USB. Highly recommended.

To claim this low voltage desk top fan is noiseless in operation is misleading. This fan uses an electric motor to power the fan blade. The motor noise level is no different to any other fan noise level of this size and power I have purchased.At full speed the air flow is underwhelming at 0.5 meter distant and the cooling effect greatly diminished. The logistics of placing closer to one’s face for example may not be a practical or desirable option.This may be acceptable for users requiring a gentle flow however do not expect it to be a cooling flow (on a hot day) from this low powered device.Others will have a different view.
