This is one of the few reviews I have ever written for anything and if I could give these flan tins 6 stars I would! Great weight heavy duty and with a serious non stick coating not cheap or flimsy but make sure you don’t use metal utensils on it or it’ll scratch the surface. Solidly manufactured. The tin transfers the heat evenly and does not buckle or warp even when searing hot. If you are a serious home cook then this is the best you can buy. The pastry for the 2 chocolate tarts I made are crisp and evenly golden perfectly baked. I am a nationally award winning chef with over 30 years experience and I’ve owned a couple of restaurants. Please trust me these are the best flan tins for home and professional use that I have ever bought or used. I still can’t believe the price! I bought 2 other products from the same manufacturer a loaf tin and two baking trays and I have given them all the same 5 stars. I still can’t believe the price I paid for all of them just over £30 for 5 heavy duty products!. I honestly wasn’t expecting such a high quality product for the price. Respect MasterClass!

Used this on 4 occasions and took extra care to ensure it was greased properly. The pastry stuck so badly the quiche was broken up and the base would not release (vital feature of loose base flan tin) Each time I had to soak the tin for a day or two to get it clean on both the base and even worse in the fluted sides which were all but impossible to clean. It became unusable after so much scrubbing and scraping I threw it in the bin. Not fit for purpose and definitely NOT non stick 🙁

Very good quality weighty with a 20 yr guarantee from masterclassWell worth buying until I made a quich Sunday 10th May 2020 and come to pick it up to place in oven and bottom lifted and fell through don’t know how I’ve cheaper bottomless cake and flan tins that don’t leak I will try it again but I will be returning it if this happens again only had it 2 days !!!!

I wouldn’t normally write a review for a flan tin but… I am seriously impressed with this tin. It’s a good heavy weight that doesn’t buckle and the quiches when cooked slide out with ease. My order also arrived a day earlier than expected and well packed but my only issue was that the loose base had a scratch on it. Not the end of the world as it wouldn’t affect its performance and couldn’t be bothered to send it back.

Really like this tin and I’m glad I chose it. I don’t mind paying quite a bit for my bakeware as I assume that they will do a better job and was nearly put off by how cheaply this was priced but it’s been exceptionally good. It’s easy to line easy to use hasn’t warped and the pastry just pops straight out without the tin having to be greased and without leaving any pastry in the in. All in all a very good purchase.
