Great little warming plate. It conducts heat really well and keeps food warm. It can get quite hot so let it cool down before you pack it away. For best results I found it prudent to light the candles about 15 mins before you put the food on it. It’s then nice and hot. Otherwise the food will be cooling down whilst the candles get to full flame. I have a few of these heaters and they are a God-send when entertaining…and much cheaper than a hostess trolley!

Really good. I’ve had trivot type ones of these in the past and they don’t work I decided to try this type and wow just 2 tea lights and the plate was really hot I never though a tea light could generate so much heat it was brilliant.The top plate is evenly hot not just where the tea lights are so the whole surface is equally useable and very hot.This is a good size to fit 3 medium sized oval bowls it’s big enough for my needs but they do do triple version.Well worth the money.

I bought two of these to use on Christmas Day they were brilliant easy to set up and light and were just the right size for the meat dishes the food stayed nice and hot for well over an hour until we had finished eating and had extinguished the candles I’m sure they would’ve stayed hot for longer if necessary.

I ordered it because I was hoping it will help me with warming a party food. But when it arrived it seemed too low quality so I returned it.

Bought these for bivvy heaters for night fishing. Very effective. Nash bivvy heaters work on the same principle but they are sold out everywhere (until end of October when a new supply is being despatched). These are a lot less money and will tide us over until then.
