Es del tamaño perfecto para una bolsa de 250g y cumple con todo lo anunciado. Sin embargo ya que el plástico es transparente. No ofrece la máxima protección para tu café. Si eso es lo que estás buscando mejor prueba la versión opaca de esta misma marca.

2nd UPDATE: The more I use it the more it grows on me. I would give it more like 3.5 stars at this point and I would recommend it to others with the caveats below. Once you get used to sliding down the inner lid and replacing the top lid the process becomes more familiar. I do feel like it is keeping my beans fresher because I can squeeze out all the air all the way down to the point where the lid contacts the beans. This medium size works well for a full pound of beans but I am going to order a small one for the smaller 12 oz quantity of beans I normally buy locally.UPDATE: I am increasing my review to 3 stars after getting more use out of it. When you get used to sliding the inner lid down and also flipping the latch to lock it it feels a bit more secure now than my initial impressions. It does have an advantage in that it gets ride of excess air volume above the beans even though the sealing system may not be super robust. I would still look at getting the smaller container next time and/or adding the original round/stainless container to my collection.Airscape’s round container (in stainless steel) is well regarded for keeping coffee beans etc. fresh. I wanted a transparent container which Airscape instead uses this square design. Problem with the square design is the sealing system seems finicky. The inner lid seals on the inner wall of the container and has a valve that allows air to escape as you slide the lid down toward the contents (coffee beans or whatever). The idea is to force out most of the air to keep the contents fresher. However the square lid does not remain level as you slide it down the square container wall which may create leak paths around the lid seal. It also simply does not feel like a very robust sealing system . The container comes with a 2nd upper lid which also has a seal that just barely seems to engage the container. I’m not sure why you need an upper lid with another seal unless the inner lid seal is not reliable. Another issue with this container is it is a lot of work if you want quick access to the coffee beans etc. As you use up the beans and the level drops you have to move the lid lower and lower into the container each time you close it; and each time you have to be very careful about keeping the inner lid level when you put it back in. And then you have to keep removing the 2nd lid as well. Sometimes I want quick access several times during one coffee-making session and I don’t want to keep messing with the lids. Finally please note that this 64 oz. container is too tall for a small quantity like 1/2 lb of beans. I would guess it holds well more than 1 lb but again the tall container means you have to slide the lid down further and makes it even harder to control the inner lid and keep it level as you slide it down.

I bought this a couple years ago to store whole beans for my RV but brought it in the house because I like it so much! I’ve seen reviewers complain that it’s light weight or that the lid isn’t tight. The lid is just to keep things out and to make it stackable. The airtight seal fits inside. The fact that it’s two pieces is no big deal. I store whole beans in it but it keeps grounds perfectly well too. If using whole beans a bigger size is much better as the small is pretty small. You have to allow a bit of space to sink the airtight seal and still have room for the outer lid. Sounds complicated but it isn’t. I mean it’s been all this time and I’m just now getting around to ordering the larger size I need!

Keeps ground coffee fresh the part you plunge down the canister slides easily and you can hear the air escaping while you’re pushing it down. The handle secures it in place so it fits snug. The lid fits well and is easy to remove – a plus first thing in the morning when all you want is that 1st cup of coffee without any hassles.I thought the price was high but it’s worth the money to have the entire package of coffee taste good.I’ve recommended this to friends and would buy from this company again.
